Steam Deck

Steam Deck is the first FAQ question: dimraeth.com/faq/ claims full Steam Deck support, while the Steam store compatibility field remains Unknown. Keyboard and mouse, gamepad, and a WASD-plus-mouse hybrid are the listed inputs. Singleplayer is fully supported. Platform answers use the FAQ for co-op and inputs, and the store for languages and the launch date. It also covers why there is no dedicated server and where to report bugs.
When the FAQ and the store disagree
dimraeth.com/faq/ was last modified 12 September 2025, before the April demo and the September launch. Answers about not being an MMO, peer-to-peer hosting, solo play, and input methods still match the live design. Answers about languages and the Early Access calendar do not. Steam Deck is the awkward middle: the FAQ asserts full support, the store leaves compatibility Unknown. Keep both facts in view instead of pretending one document already won.
The FAQ footer mentions a Privacy Policy while dimraeth.com/privacy-policy/ 404s. Official contact remains info@mudtek.dev, support@dimraeth.com, and Discord. For live roster and price, use the Early Access page. For hosting rules in more detail, use co-op.
Windows, controllers, cloud
The platforms object is Windows true, Mac false, Linux false. Full controller support includes DualShock and DualSense. Steam Cloud, Stats, and Family Sharing are listed. Cloud does not replace a dedicated server. Family Sharing does not create extra host slots beyond the eight-player rule. Keyboard, mouse, pad, or hybrid all play the same stamina combat; none unlock extra races.
If you are buying for a living room, the FAQ’s no-console line still holds: no confirmed consoles. Deck remains the unverified claim. Read the store compatibility field before you treat a handheld as supported.
Where to go after these answers
If you still need the 15 September roster, price, and 18-24 month window, open Early Access. If you need the 3x3 pairings, open archetypes. If you need the five-spell rule, open spells. If you need stamina and Concentration, open combat. If you need benches and pets, open Sanctum. If you need hosting, open co-op. If you need named geography, open Mirkea. If you need the wizard still, open First Steps. If you need the 37-row set, open achievements.
Steam Deck, keyboard, and singleplayer sit here because those are the FAQ questions players actually ask. Mudtek’s FAQ remains linked below for original wording; the store wins on languages and the launch date.
Frequently asked questions
Does Dimraeth support Steam Deck?
The official FAQ says Dimraeth is a PC Steam game with full Steam Deck support and no confirmed consoles. The Steam store compatibility field for Deck remains Unknown. Play on Windows as the only platform object set true. Treat Deck as a FAQ claim that the store has not verified. If Valve marks it Verified or Playable later, that store field is the one to trust.
Can I play with keyboard and mouse only?
Yes. The FAQ lists keyboard and mouse, a full gamepad, and a WASD-plus-mouse hybrid. Steam also lists full controller support including DualShock and DualSense. You are not forced onto a pad. The hybrid option is there if you want keyboard movement with mouse camera. None of those input modes create split-screen; local multiplayer is not offered.
Is there a singleplayer campaign?
Yes. The FAQ states the game can be played solo from start to finish while still supporting eight-player co-op. Recruited allies and pets fill encounters when no human joins. Story, Sanctum buildings, and allies stay on your world. You do not need a group to finish Act 1, reach level 25, or complete The First Steps in Earlwood Village.
Is Dimraeth an MMO with dedicated servers?
No. The FAQ says Dimraeth is not an MMO and that you will not be dropped among hundreds of random players. Co-op is up to eight with drop-in. One player hosts on peer-to-peer. There are no dedicated servers and no private servers. When the host leaves, that world instance is gone; your hero level, equipment, inventory, and spells still travel.
Which languages ship in Early Access?
Steam lists English, Portuguese-Brazil, Simplified Chinese, German, Russian, Spanish-Latin America, Korean, and Japanese. The FAQ still says English and Simplified Chinese at launch; that line is stale against the store. Russian storefront naming is Димрейт, Japanese ディムレイス, Korean 딤레이스, Simplified Chinese 迪姆雷斯. Other listed storefronts keep Dimraeth.
Where do I report bugs or find a group?
The FAQ sends bugs to the Discord channel bug-reports and looking-for-group to looking-for-group on discord.gg/dimraeth. Email paths are info@mudtek.dev and support@dimraeth.com. There is no in-game server browser because hosting is peer-to-peer. Use Steam friends or that Discord rather than expecting a matchmaking queue.
What happened to the demo?
A public demo shipped 2 April 2026 as Steam app 2405840 and closed 15 July after about 60,000 players because Early Access had diverged. The FAQ’s older demo promise (two races, two classes, eight-player co-op) was fulfilled and then retired. Named 46-spell tables from that period stay on the spells page as a historical switch, not as the live 300-spell claim.
When does Early Access end?
Mudtek will not set a fixed leave-EA date. The written window is roughly 18 to 24 months with more biomes, races, classes, bosses, and story. Early Access opened 15 September 2026 at 18:00 CEST. Price is USD 21.99 list, 19.79 intro through 22 September, and is planned to rise during EA and again at 1.0. The FAQ page still talking about aiming for EA in 2026 is leftover copy from 12 September 2025.
